As the second of seven children to Chief Warrant Officer Ricardo Cantu and his wife Verline, Randal grew up in a family with sixty years of military and foodservice experience.
Himself a sergeant in the United States Army, Randal was recognized in 1977 for his achievements by being awarded The Army Commendation Medal, which distinguished him for his outstanding performance, professionalism, sound judgment, determination, enthusiasm, meritorious service, and devotion to mission accomplishment while assigned to the 82nd Airborne Combat Division.
Following in his father’s entrepreneurial footsteps, Randy incorporated Cantu Foods Coffee and Vending in 1990 with a mission to introduce military precision and efficiency into food and refreshment services for the private sector.
Randal is a former Director of the GDHCC and an active member of Dallas’ Hispanic community. His continued hands-on leadership of Cantu Foods Coffee and Vending ensures that all members of the Cantu staff maintain the same quality standards of reliable, prompt, and friendly service on which the company was founded.

Kristine joined the Cantu team in 2001 with a background in business marketing. She manages many of the company's day-to-day operations and provides consulting solutions to clients in a number of areas, including long-term cost control, product sourcing, staff development, and process improvement. Her goal is to maintain 100% customer satisfaction in a positive, productive, and diverse work environment.
With her history of studies in Sociology and Early Childhood Development, Kristine places high value on cultural diversity, individuality, personal accountability, and corporate responsibility. Kristine is a TXU Gold Star recipient for her contributions to that company's supplier diversity program; and since 1997 has been a supporter of the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Teaching Tolerance project, which promotes equity, respect for differences, and appreciation of diversity among children in grades K-12 by using anti-bias multimedia teaching tools.
Though she remains busy outside of work with community involvement and one very active child, she remains on call and available to assist clients 24 hours a day, ensuring that all of Cantu Coffee and Vending's customers' needs are always met.
